Are you familiar with the ICE Foundation? They are the former agents and lobbyists who “bring together government and industry leaders,” and promise to “enhance your brand’s reputation and gain you admittance to exclusive circles” if you sponsor them
Acc. to @readsludge, which broke the story about the ICE Foundation as I was researching it, 1/2 of its "board members and officers ... are closely connected to companies that currently or recently scored contracts" w/ICE. Here is a graphic from Sludge depicting that: 
Acc. to John Clark, ICE-F chairman/Pfizer VP/former ICE official/definitely NOT an alien in a human suit: "We’re there to ... make sure corporate America is aware ... [of the need to] enhance ICE's capabilities..." (Lobby the lobbyists to lobby future lobbyists to deport more?)
Acc. to my research, most of ICE-F's sponsors have scored ICE contracts (about $3 billion) since the year of its incorporation (2010). And ICE's biggest contractors appear to be ICE-F's biggest sponsors. The question remains: how much weight does the ICE-F affiliation carry?
@ICE_Foundation claims no official ties to the ICE agency, but ICE & DHS leadership regularly keynote ICE-F's annual gala at the Mayflower Hotel (inc. DHS Secretaries John Kelly in 2017 & Jeh Johnson in 2014-2015), and ICE-F promises its prime sponsors "VIP access to speakers"
Worth noting no reporter has written anything about the ICE Foundation's events, which have been ongoing since 2010. Also I'd be willing to bet ICE-F's "charity work" is fraudulent.@aurabogado @SeanMcElwee @TheRealNews My 1st attempt to cover this story: bit.ly/2AkoLzS
