This is only an extreme example of something getting more common by the day. One news story in the US (if we even get one) isn't enough. A brave editor (in MSM not blogs or rightwing outlets) must stand behind their journos & take this on as a regular beat--like @thetimes
Only reason extreme trans activism is being exposed in the UK is because journos like @VictoriaPeckham @mragilligan @TimesLucy have the support of their editors to KEEP at it. Incidents like this one are enabled by extreme trans activism. So far, US MSM are neglecting their duty.
Just like all the articles covering the most heinous criminals who "transitioned" in prison, the media never"misgender"--no matter how ridiculous or implausible the perp may be. Everyone knows this individual is [redacted], but even skeptical journos **can't tell the truth**.
The part that is "no anomaly" is the righteous outrage around "misgendering" and the society-wide steps taken to punish anyone who engages in (even unintentional) wrongspeak: for example, in this video the (unusually aggressive) shopper's threat to "call corporate!"
