Dear Republicans:

As just your average American living in the Rust Belt, I'd like to offer up some unsolicited - but much-needed - advice.
/1
Now listen carefully:

If you do not remove Trump from office the first chance you get, you will lose soundly in 2020. You will certainly lose the presidency. Your Senate majority will also be in serious jeopardy. Twenty-one of the 33 seats up for re-election are YOURS.
/2
I'll say it again: Donald Trump WILL NOT win reelection in 2020, and the Republican Party as a body should take a moment to come to terms with that inevitability.
/3
How can I be so certain?

Because even after three decades of Fox-led anti-Hillary Clinton propaganda, she beat him by almost 2.9 million votes in 2016.

And but for the Comey letter, she almost certainly would have won.

Oh yes. You really turned those emails into some sort of a really big deal back in 2016. Now … uh … maybe not so much, amirite?

And but for the Russians hacking the DNC for Trump, Hillary Clinton would have won.

And but for the WikiLeaks dumps, Hillary Clinton would have won the Presidency.

But for Cambridge Analytica and the heavy-hitting Kremlin micro-targeted social media campaign, she would have won. Handedly.

But for the $30 million in NRA donations to Trump, (possibly funneled from Russia) she would have won.

And but for the Kremlin trolls and bots on social media, she would have won.

But for the myriad ways Putin's Internet Research Agency helped Trump, Hillary would have won the presidency. You know. I know it. Putin knows it.

Ah, but that was THEN.
Now we KNOW what they did.

But for the dearth of reporting on Trump's mafia ties, Republican voters might not have so enthusiastically showed up to vote on November 8, 2016.

/14
And now even I, some random person eking out a living in America's Rust Belt, isn't quite so ignorant.
/15

But for Trump's gazillion excuses for not releasing his tax returns, Hillary would have won.
/16
Now those days of ignorance are pretty much behind us. 😉

And but for Trump illegally conspiring with AMI to suppress stories of Stormy Daniels and Summer Zervos, Hillary might have won.

Let's face it. The public knowledge about this conspiracy alone to commit fraud against the American people is going to be have more impact *against* Trump than the coverup had *for* him in 2016.

Donald Trump won the presidency by the dust on the skin of his implanted teeth and relied on a breathtaking amount of criminal activity to do so.

/20
With every passing day we get a sharper view into the depths of treason, fraud, campaign finance violations and who knows what else he was happy to do. Just to "win."

/21
Barely win. It won't happen again. There are 17 investigations into every nook and cranny of his lawless world. Federal prosecutors, state prosecutors, CREW, Congress, the world, are watching him closely. He won't get away with ANY of that next time.

You know, even many Fox viewers I know are a bit embarrassed by him. They still stand by him with a bit of an apologetic half-smile, but they sure don't seem particularly excited by what they see. There doesn't seem to be a lot of pride in their party anymore.
/23
Whatever anyone who voted for him expected, none but the most delusional among us can see this catastrophe of an administration improving with more time. For the greater part of America, the jig is up.
/24
So, Republicans, if you don't toss off his dead weight, and do it early, you WILL end up with a Democratic president. Count on it.
/25
But much worse than that, you will wear a figurative "C" for the rest of your lives – You will go down in history books as cowards for turning your back on your country for what? Fear of a tweet. Or … for fear of a bunch of shysters who will all end up in prison anyway.
/26
Instead, DO what you SWORE TO DO: Protect the Constitution from Enemies Foreign and Domestic.
/27
Remove him SOON. Open up the running for a more palatable contender.

What do you have to lose?
