@MikeDeWine has stated that looking at the plans' contracts to improve HEDIS performance is on the table. Good. They should be at risk for improving the screening rates. cc: @JoEllenCorrigan

.@OhioMedicaid also had a policy approved by the fed to finance lead abatement via the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP): medicaid.gov/CHIP/Downloads…

One thing @MikeDeWine should consider is significantly increasing the investment for this program and ramp up abatement.
I would also add that we need a more comprehensive view of housing and health, state-level and locally, to address these issues. That includes topics like the housing trust fund, medicaid expansion, affordability, vouchers, rental assistance, etc.
