Yogi govt has decided to put all stray cows in Gaushala's. For maintaining it some cess is proposed. lets see if Gaushala's can run on own revenue. All r free to add or counter my points
👉Today the cost of farming is increasing due to rising urea cost
👉Continuous use of chemicals n pesticdes is destroying the quality of soil plus experts says it has entered in foods we consume
👉World is slowly moving toward organic/naturally produced food. This produce fetches more rate than pesticide used crop
👉GOI has earmarked separate fund for popularising organic farming
👉This is were Gaushala's role come. Experts of natural farming in Maharashtra have proved urine n cow dung of 1 cow is sufficient for 30 acres
👉Cost of cow urea n pesticide for spraying over crops is miniscule
thereby decreasing the input cost. Yield is incresed, taste of produce is increased
👉GOI gives huge subsidy on urea plus much of urea has to be imported
👉One more point which has large economic significance. There is natural gas shortage in India. Many gas based power plants
having 1000's of MW of generating capacity r idle because of no gas. SEB's n Banks r in big loss due to this
👉Urea plants r given first preference of natural gas
👉GOI has full details of urea req per acre for diff crops, which means they have data for amount spend/acre/crop
👉With the above data GOI can simulate n see what is the current requirement of urea for 1L acre wheat crop, what amt of subsidy the govt bears due to it n how many cows r req to be maintained for providing cow urea to the same land n its cost
👉Important benefit of cow urea is it has good water retention properties. So the resultant water req for a crop is less which in turn means less electricity used. Farm power is subsidised so less power consumption means govt spending less
👉Certain amount of natural gas is required to produce 1 kg of urea. Now Govt should work out how much quantam of natural gas saved if urea consumption of 1L acre is decreased. This saved gas can be made available to power plants at commercial rates. Profit for Govt.
👉Now for pilot model fo 1L acre we have:
On one hand operating cost of Gaushala maintaing sufficient cows to provide cow urea n on the other hand we amount saved on chemical urea subsidy plus amt saved on power subsidy plus money gained thro selling N Gas plus water saved.
👉One factor to add is diesel pollution due to transportation of chemical urea
👉In current practise of urea purchase money is going out of local economy
👉Gaushala's can be maintained to service the requirement of 5-25 village cluster so money will circulate in local economy
👉I have given enough examples to prove Gaushala's can be good self sustaing model which will boost local economy
👉Ideas of all r welcome. If we convince the Govt that maintaining Gaushala's is not a burden we can solve the cow slaughter problem.
All cow loving Dharmic should read this thread, RT it or add their ideas to it.
