.@novaya_gazeta calls into doubt the official explanation the 3 Russian journalists investigating Wagner mercenaries in CAR were killed in a robbery. A CAR gendarme was following them & calling Russians linked to Wagner boss Prigozhin, phone records show novayagazeta.ru/articles/2019/… 
The Russian journos wanted to go east to Bambari but their driver, a former gendarme, took them north where they were ambushed, beaten & shot. Who found the driver? "Martin," the mysterious fixer recommended by an employee of FAN (owned by Prigozhin, whom they were investigating)
The gendarme following the journos, Emmanuel Kotofio, quickly arrived at the murder site "with 3 Europeans" but left the bodies. He had been frequently calling a deputy of Zakharov, the Russian security advisor to CAR's president. He reportedly got a promotion after their killing
Since this increasingly looks like a murder plot, it is more shocking than ever that the journalists' editor at the Khodorkovsky project TsUR got them a fixer through an employee of the FAN media outlet owned by Prigozhin WHO FUNDS THE MERCENARIES THEY WERE INVESTIGATING
