Wild story in Davidson:

Two people who claim allegiance to the Moorish Nation were found squatting in a multimillion-dollar home for sale once owned by the parents of the mayor of Davidson.

Interesting day- the property manager of a west Charlotte home told me the two Davidson suspects also declared allegiance to the Moorish Nation at his property. They claimed he has no authority over them. They refused to pay rent. Their lease expired.

When we got to the house the property manager and a maintenance worker were already there. The worker was going to change the locks- then he saw people inside. Police were called.

Once police arrived on site they told the property manager they couldn't do anything. The two have to be evicted. The property manager is trying- the case has been tied up. The two just appealed.

Take a look at this beauty- the property manager says the two painted the garage (and front door). In addition to missing a couple spots they violated all kinds of HOA rules by doing this. The property manager now has to deal with that

The property manager also says the two posted these no trespassing signs on the property that they are not supposed to be in.

I knocked on the door twice-- no answer. But it goes to show you how difficult it is for property managers and homeowners dealing with these situations. Story at 6 @wsoctv
