But, among other things, the media played a pivotal role in convincing many that Trump was credible, viable, and acceptable. They showered him w/ free & constant attention, and largely let him control his own narrative.

They provided cover for him constantly & silenced his critics, including @HillaryClinton, by either ignoring them, ridiculing them, shaming them, or through good old fashioned gaslighting.
Especially when it came to matters concerning Russia.
It was pathetic & devastating.

This, while also giving Bernie Sanders a free ride. I mean all of the stuff we are talking about in terms of his treatment of women was thede in his history.

Those are big things. Giant, telling things. Yet, they went unreported because the media had gone with the Sanders as Saint angle.
All while doing literally everything in its power to prove to the world they were showing no preference for Clinton.

They gave every fake news story attention and therefore credibility. They allowed Trey Gowdy to run amuck, unchecked. Ridiculed her looks, voice, personality, and abilities. Convinced everyone, including themselves that she was unpopular and always had been.

Whether because of his conspiracy with Russia, gerrymandering, the destruction of the VRA, Republican electioneering, voter irresponsibility, James Comey, or misogyny, Clinton faced an enemy at every gate, while Trump merely exploited the status quo until the finish line.

So, no it's not the campaign that never ended. Its the actual election and it's legitimate results that were never recognized.
