durrr no we need to get paid for licensing because my $50M bonus matters more than the NPV of the ecosystem
I dunno, maybe one day when pay tv is down to like 60M subs they'll come around to this view. Imagine if the whole industry was on X1 and all content that subscribers were paying for was easily available
