This is an official Government Twitter account, remarkably casually dropping a Brexit bombshell on the UK haulage industry. (Less than 1,000 permits for over 50,000 vehicles BTW.)

To be fair to them, the info had been repeated every couple of days or so with slightly different wording.
However, given that the flipside of getting a permit is potentially going out of business, I would have expected much more urgent, imperative language.
