We have become a nation divided by Brexit, in a way that regular politics never did. According to a new survey, only 6% of people don't identify with either Remain or Leave. Another take-away: only 4% interpret "no deal" as the status quo.

Another fascinating insight: only 20% of people place immigration as a core concern, down from 45% before the referendum. So Tories banging on about controlling the movement of people really are playing to the right of the party, and beyond.
But perhaps the most important thing, in the context of a second vote, is "New information about Brexit is interpreted in ways that reinforce pre-existing views." In other words, the battle to win hearts and minds will be even harder than many may anticipate.
