There is a bipartisan majority in both chambers for the bill to re-open the government Pelosi has passed in the House. There isn't and never will be for the bill Trump/McConnell will introduce this week. Who is being feckless, obstructionist?
2/And here's the video of McConnell making the case for the bill he has already passed through the Senate and Pelosi passed through House with bi-partisan support in both chambers which would re-open the govt, create space for border/immigration debate.
3/Trump is acting as if any reasonable compromise on immigration is an existential threat to his Presidency. As I wrote in a recent @NBCNewsTHINK piece, maybe it is. nbcnews.com/think/opinion/…
