Nerdy but important EU(W)A klaxon: gov has now laid its s13(4) statement *which says gov will also be engaging provisions of s13(11)*. That is, gov will say that there is 'no agreement in principle' in negotiations under A50. 1/

Gov will lay a separate s13(11) statement later this week. And then roll the s13(11) and s13(4) statements together to be considered in a single amendable neutral motion (below) for consideration on 29/1, as is allowed under s13(13). 2/
my 1st thought is that this buys the gov a few more days, before laying the s13(11) statement, in which it might therefore be able to say something more substantive/different than it did today. 3/
