JAMES WOOLSEY: LIVE FREE -- OR ELSE
Making the world more dangerous in the name of 'human rights'
A thread about the role of James Woolsey in the colour revolutions of the early 2000’s.

In January 2003, James Woolsey was named chairman of Freedom House.

Freedom House is federally funded. The organization’s budget increased from $12 million a year to $20 million during Woolsey’s 2.5 year stint as chairman.
During Woolsey’s brief tenure, there were 6 different colour revolutions around the world:
🔹 Rose (Georgia)
🔹Orange (Ukraine)
🔹 Purple (Iraq)
🔹 Tulip (Kyrgyzstan)
🔹 Cedar (Lebanon)
🔹 Blue (Kuwait)
Of the 6 colour revolutions, the Orange Revolution in Ukraine was unquestionably the most important.
The blueprint for the Orange Revolution was established in Serbia in 1999.
This article from the Washington Post goes into great detail about the western organized campaign to oust Serbian leader Slobodan Milosevic.

If you only read one article on the Orange Revolution, then make it this one from the late Ian Traylor, published in The Guardian.
It was written as the the events of the revolution unfolded in November 2004..

The DC Uniparty operation to oust an undesirable foreign leader through the use of NGOs and the activism of naive young people is termed the Regime Change Deluxe by @avery1776.
Here’s one of several excellent threads (with awesome infographics) on the topic.
In a remarkably candid interview with Radio Free Europe in Oct 2005, Woolsey proudly admited his involvement in the colour revolutions and he named his chief nemesis, Vladimir Putin.

Freedom House releases an annual report giving each nation a “freedom rating.”
It was during Woolsey’s tenure as chairman that Russia’s classification was changed to “unfree.”

What Woolsey didn't say is that when Radio Free Europe was privatized, George Soros purchased a significant stake in RFE.

Or as Vladimir Lenin once said, “You can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs."
According to the Woolsey Doctrine, “freedom” is spread by similar means as communism.
Last year, Woolsey yukked it up with Laura Ingraham when she asked him if the US ever meddles in other country’s elections.
While most people will agree that the fall of the Soviet Union was positive, especially since it occurred without the use of tanks and missiles, it needs to be asked at what point is pursuing regime change in foreign countries harmful.
Putin filled the vacuum left after the fall of the Soviet Union. Now we’re told he’s a fascist who’s meddling in our elections.
But who’s say the leader to emerge if Putin is overthrown won’t be more adversarial and dangerous? How does destabilizing a nuclear power make the world safer for freedom and democracy?
Perhaps the most important question is -- what’s to stop the Regime Change Deluxe from being employed against our own elected president?
