One final note. Certainly things can change a ton in the next 22 months. But 8 years ago this week, at the same point in Obama's first term as Trump's now, we released a national poll that found Barack Obama leading Mitt Romney by 5 points nationally. He won by 4 the next year

Our annual NC poll on the UNC-Duke rivalry finds voters in the state prefer the Tar Heels 45-23.

In state, UNC-NC State is actually the most competitive rivalry by fan loyalty. UNC beats State just 41-28.

In Colorado, 58% of voters want Congress to re-open government without funding for the wall, to 37% opposed.

Cory Gardner has a 30/47 approval rating, more evidence that he's extremely vulnerable next year:

To sum up today’s #Trump bullshittery: dude says he’ll sign the funding bill that just passed Congress AND will declare a (totes bogus btw) national emergency so that he doesn’t have to honor it.
Worse, the “conservatives” are all supporting this. Including MITCH MCCONNELL who now suddenly wants to sing about it like it’s free candy.

Aren’t y’all supposed to be AGAINST Federal Government overreach?!
