This Trump prayer rugs tweet is based on a Washington Examiner story claiming prayer rugs are being found on the border. But the story has no pictures of the rugs, and is based entirely on one anonymous rancher's claim that she's seen prayer rugs.
The whole prayer rugs on the border thing is an ancient right-wing talking point. In 2014, another "prayer rug" was discovered on the border. It turned out to be an Adidas shirt. gawker.com/breitbart-com-…

Right-wing activist Laura Loomer, last seen chaining herself to Twitter HQ, has jumped the fence at Nancy Pelosi's Napa home and set up a tent protesting immigration. Now she's chanting "Nancy, Nancy!"
Laura Loomer has walked off the stream, on her way to Pelosi's house. One of her crew is claiming that it's legal to jump the fence because there were no "no trespassing" signs. I don't know about that!
One of Loomer's pals is urging viewers to come and ask for "sanctuary" at Pelosi's house. He claims they'll be allowed to stay and won't get in legal trouble because "we're not antifa." Hmm!

Let's talk about how "Antifa" is being wielded as baba yaga by the right.

Because there is at least one instance of an extremist setting a wildfire recently. Spoiler alert: it wasn't antifa.
Forrest Gordon Clark is a member of RuSA, a sovereign citizen group, accused of starting the Holy Fire earlier this year. He allegedly also spread many alt-right conspiracy theories.

So I'd like to point out that despite being called "bedwetters," "hysterics" and "extremists," those of us who have been calling out GOP hypocrisy for years are actually more accurate than virtually anyone else.
Whether it's racism or sexism or hypocrisy or disdain for rules that limit the party's power: we told you so. We told you it would lead to this. We told you that they weren't to be trusted. In fact, the only thing we've been wrong about is the depth of their depravity.
When conservatives defended Bork's nomination for the court when he was the perpetrator of the Saturday Night Massacre, how could you be surprised when they let Trump nominate someone who will decide his criminal liability?

...it's all due to some fucking PizzaGate shit. All they've found so far are homeless and migrant encampments they claim are NWO camps, and are now planning to dig into any "suspicious" mound in the desert they find.
Which means there are even odds they are going to massively defile an ancestral Hohokam site, possibly even doing it on the Tohono O'odham Nation, because in southern Arizona, a lot of desert mounds that are "out of place" are the remains of villages.
