Forget Kushner. THIS is crazy. And I say this as someone who thinks they’re normally a bit too skittish about denying clearences on thin grounds. 
Just a reminder—@ashk4n, who is a brilliant security expert, wanted to use his rare talents in service of the country, but had to leave a White House job, probably because he has relatives in Iran & consulted with WaPo on Snowden articles.
If only he’d been a mediocre grifter with rich parents & slept with the president’s kid, he’d have been cool, apparently.
