So finally,i now have the change to offload some stuffs in my brains.

Here it is all about importing products from China and reselling them using platforms and systems for a huge profit.

This ecom thread will open your eyes to the huge opportunity in importation without necessarily travelling..

out of the country or using millions of naira to bring in containers of goods. Here you can actually start from the comfort of your home and grow it from there.

Nigeria is an import dependent nation,so this business will not stop for a very long time to come.

The major system i used in raking in loads of cash in this business is by looking for SOLUTIONS to peoples problem.

There is a saying that goes like this"the more people you help to solve a problem,the more money you make".

So you will not just see any product you fancy and...

start importing...NO.

You have to see if the product you are about importing is actually a solution to a particular problem.

Now i could be a solution be any problem or EMBARRASSING problem.

The products that solve embarrassing problems always bring about a group of people...

called DESPERATE BUYERS.

Now your desperate buyers and others who want to solved that particular problem forms your "market"...

That is the group of people you will be selling your products to. Until you identify that "market",you will not be importing anything.

All i am saying is this;you need to identify your target market before coming into this business and you must be specific about who your target market is before you start looking for the product to import.

Your target market comprises of two categories; male market and female

market and the age bracket of these markets is from 24/25 years and above.

Why are we bringing in age here?

We are actually looking for people who will take buying decisions and also have the money to buy.

Now let me give you some example of an EMBARRASSING PROBLEM that is...

desperately in need of solution

1. A lady who wants to get back to normal tummy shape after giving birth.

Yea...you and i know 99% of them wants to get their tummy back to the original shape after birth and MANY of them are embarrassed by that big tummy.

Now,out of that...

embarrassment,they will end up DESPERATELY looking for a solution to that problem. Now you will see them drink all sort of stuffs and tie their stomach with wrappers etc.

If you can provide a solution to this group of people,they will dole out good money to you and get it.

The simple solution you can sell to the about market is the post delivery tummy belt.

I have sold over 350 pieces of this product in the last 2 months at 10,000 each.

Once you have been able to identify your MARKET,then next thing is to find a suitable solution for them and...

The first thing to lookout for on this site is CUSTOMER FEEDBACK.

Yes...you need to check the feedback from other customers who.

have bought from that merchant to know if his product is good.
Apart from that,you also have to check the FEEDBACK ratings of the merchant for that particular product you are interested in.

If it is not up to 97%,DO NOT BUY.

After this,check the PRODUCT DETAILS.

You also need

Haggle price.
You can contact the...Merchant of the particular product you want to buy and haggle or negotiate price with him or her as you do in any market in Nigeria.

Aliexpress is not some sort of shoprite were you just look at the price tag and make payment.

beat the price down,if he/she refuses...you can move to the next merchant selling similar or same product.

When you have agreed on price of the product,you will have to let the merchant know that he or she will have to help you ship the product to your agent in China.

This agent in China will be the one to help you get your goods down to Nigeria.

I know you may be wondering why we are not using the likes of DHL or UPS right?

Do not go near them.

The cost of using them is too high and it will so eat in to your profit that you will regret...

You will contact them and tell them you....want to use them as a shipping agent from China to Nigeria. They will give you their China address to send the goods to and when the goods arrives,they will let you know and you pay and pick up your goods.

If you do..

not reside in Lagos,you can direct them to send to your location...while you pay for the local shipping.

I started using them since my early days of importation 2013 and they are very reliable. You can visit their...

website and sign up with them. They charge as low as $12 per kg for shipping.

It is after you have made proper arrangement with any of these cargo companies that you can go ahead and pay the agreed price with the merchant you are buying from.
There are several ways of making...

payment on the aliespress portal and they bare as follows;
1. Debit/credit card
2. Paypal
3.Alipay.

The bank cards that work best are UBA Africard and Gtbank naira master-card..
You can also use paypal if you have it.

When buying from China as a small business man,you will have to follow some tested rules and they are as follows;
1. Avoid bulky or products with much weight. No matter how lovely the product looks,once it ways up to 5kg,do not buy it.

Why?

shipping fees will kill you....

2. Do not buy anything more than $5...doing that will make it difficult to add a nice mark up and make tidy profit.
Here we are looking at making at least 3 or 4 times the cost of buying the product.
3. Buy products with a WOW effect...this will help people buy on impulse.

4. Do not buy products that are too technical to understand and use....
5. Do not buy glass products that may break along the way.

After you successfully brought in your product down to Nigeria,the next thing to do is to sell them.
Here you will need advertisement to sell it of and the major medium for advertisement is...

2. Instagram
3. High traffic blogs like Lindaikejiblog and instablog

When you are advertising,make sure you advertise where you target market is located. Lets say you are selling tummy belt for women,the best place to place your advert should be Facebook,Instagram or lindikejiblog.

You can use pay on delivery or pay before delivery,depending on the one that works for you.

If you are doing pay on delivery,ensure you call everybody who orders the product to confirm their order before you ship out your product. Once the product has been shipped out

follow up with the customer until the product gets to them,

Once orders starts coming in,you will then need to ship out your products your customers.

You can do self delivery

In your city,so as you have good cash flow while waiting for logistics companies to pay up for the ones they delivered.

You can start this business on a small scale with 50k to 100k and once you make good sales,you can easily scale up by ordering more and increasing your advert
