I think the real tell in her talk is when she says, "All of us have these placards in our closets." That's the point: those radical ghosts, those lefty pasts, that we all have to overcome in order to show that we're credible serious players.
I don't want to vote for a candidate who thinks that her first order of business is to overcome her past, to show that she's not a leftist. That's what we did in 1992 with Bill Clinton. I'm not interested in doing it again.
