Wait a minute... isn’t it the Democrats who voted against the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871 - which is Civil Action against the Deprivation of Rights? Ralph Northam pushed the late term abortions earlier in the week right? Interesting coincidence. Any Democrats care to comment?

The Civil Rights Act of 1866 was passed by Republicans in the House and Senate. Democrat President Andrew Johnson vetoed it. Republicans did a veto override. Why were Dems so eager to stop the Bill? What is this about? I thought Dems were the pioneers of Civil Rights?

Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871 was written by Ohio Republican Samuel Shellabarger. 159 Republicans in House/Senate supported it, 105 Democrats voted against it. It was signed by President Ulysses S Grant. This was codified as 42 USC 1983. Its what illegal aliens use in District Court.

Let’s not forget 14th amendment was written by Ohio Republican John A Bingham who was Assistant Judge Advocate General of the Lincoln Assassination Trial. Bingham also drafted 15th amendment. Why is it so many Republicans write LAWS promoting liberty, freedom & civil rights?
