I'm awake and that's awful.
To make it clear for those not in my time zone: I'm awake at 3am, and that's what's awful about it.
In about :45, Mom and I will get into the car and begin creeping down the iced-over hill between us and the highway. If we reach the bottom, I go to Denver. If we end up in a ditch, I don't.
Just checked my flight status. It no longer says "premium class waitlisted," although it still says "First class waitlisted" (I fly too much), so I'm hopeful that means I've been moved to a better seat.
It's always a joy when I wind up in First class. Today I'm wearing an X-Men necklace, a NERF THIS Overwatch shirt, and my hair in pigtails. Serious businesspeople flying for serious business LOVE me (they do not love me).
THE SAGA CONTINUES:
I was upgraded to Premium Class--yay!
But still in a middle seat--boo!
The rock stars at Seatac's @AlaskaAir customer service were able to downgrade me back to Coach--WITH MY WINDOW!!!

I pet two (2) Pomeranian dogs just now. They were soft, confused little clouds who did me many licks.
I am sort of in awe of the woman at my gate who's already drunk before 7am. (TBC: this is not me making assumptions. I literally saw her sipping from a vodka bottle.)
Drunk lady now snoring peacefully.
