1. Design for people:

We are all pedestrians at some point in the day.

We need to design for the human experience first.
2. Language reform:

The terminology we use can be confusing, coded, and have bias.

Words simplify ideas and words have consequences.
Community driven design:

Engage the technical experts with the local experts. The ones who live in and love a neighbourhood are the ones who know it best.
4. Interdisciplinary collaboration:

We need to bring our unique skills together to serve a shared vision.

Have multiple voices at the table from the beginning to the end of the project.

Interdisciplinary collaboration is at the heart of every good design.
