Solar / wind fed tax credits ramp down through 2022 (though not out completely for solar). That was deal signed in 2015, under Obama.

My point is that in 2017, with GOP control of Congress and Trump in White House, GOP didn't undo this. Everyone loves solar. Most love wind. 1/
Why does the GOP embrace solar and wind?
A. In polls, Americans list solar and wind as their two favorite energy sources. (seia.org/news/new-poll-…)
B. The congressional districts with the most solar & wind are rural, GOP-held districts. 2/
The policies on industry and agriculture decarbonization I suggested yesterday () would benefit from similar dynamics. If they're seen as *benefiting* industry and farmers, by spurring innovation and giving them things.
