When would the EU decide whether to accept the request for an extension? Convene an emergency EUCO on March 28? Cuing market panic, stockpiling, etc?

Given that the UK can't ratify the Withdrawal Agreement until it has surmounted the meaningful vote hurdle *and* the implementing legislation has been passed, I can't see how the EU would go along with a late-March vote
The inevitable extension will have to be asked for before the EUCO on March 21-22.
(This would also allow some time for the inevitable court challenges to run their course before the March 29 cliff edge)
If it isn't, well, sell £££s, fill the tank and stock up on canned goods.
