Excellent analysis of "FACT" and Whittaker from #TPM

Whitaker's op-ed was "highly critical of a candidate, and he ought not to be doing that, because it’s a political partisan comment."

Whittaker founded his Section 501c3 NFP in 2015.

Section 501c3 tax code prohibits non-profits "from supporting or opposing political candidates during a campaign." But "FACT" under Whittaker did that more than once.

As a former journalist and a researcher of the relationship between #news and #socialmedia, I think I understand both sides of the argument over whether tonight's presidential address should be carried live. A few thoughts. #Thread
It's important to look at the decision in itself. Even if you think it violates precedent, and therefore is hypocritical, it may be that the previous decisions were the wrong ones and shouldn't be repeated.
For example, if I used to throw my trash out the car window, arguing that it kept prisoners busy doing litter pickup, that's clearly stupid. If I now know it's dumb and stop doing it, that is a greater good than my being consistent by still doing it.

On the question of how team structures align with service boundaries, something we've been experimenting with (quite successfully) is a less-strict division...
There are "squads" that have cross-functional representation for prioritization, risk-assessment and mitigation, and other "architectural" concerns, but the people on these squads take part in other structures as well.
When a unit of work has been sufficiently spec'd out, including the knowledge and skills needed for it, a "task force" gets formed. Any code written by that task force is submitted as pull-requests to the relevant repositories.

#Women have much greater #hormonal fluctuations each month than #men do. Simply put, a woman's thought life and #emotions are more prone to high highs, and low lows. This isn't a "design flaw" but rather how #God made a #woman to be in touch with the needs of small #children.
Nothing is more short-sighted as a #man than viewing a #woman as an "overly emotional" or "flawed" version of a man's thought process or #emotions. A woman that does not let her emotions out will become very #passiveaggressive, #depressed or #angry. Your job is to be an #outlet.
