It's #Valentine yeah?

Well, throwback to 3 years ago on my way to Rwanda when my bank @gtbank and issuing bank @UBAGroup ganged up and took my 19k.

Till today, I haven't seen it.

So I'm at the MM International airport getting my bags checked and it dawned on me I needed cash. My friend @danikpoyi and I quickly dashed to @UBAGroup atm there to withdraw. Asked friend to help.

Instead of 20k, machine dispensed only 1k.

Kinda unusual yeah?
But I was in a hurry so I won't miss flight. I just felt I would lodge case later and get it sorted out.

Well, it's 3 years now. First, there was months of back and forth to produce evidence from @UBAGroup to my bank @gtbank that indeed I got 20k.
Proof that @UBAGroup sent to my bank @gtbank that I indeed withdrew 20k were still pictures. None showed the actual withdrawal of 20k.

I can still remember the nonchalant attitude of the NTA/Location GTB branch lady who showed me evidence. More like I was bugging her. My 20k oo
This thread is just a reminder to @UBAGroup and @gtbank

If you think I've let go that 19k balance, think again.

It's my sweat and I ain't gonna let go of it. When I'm ready, I will get on it again soon.

Years ago, I used to say the best time to have money is when you’re young and can enjoy it. Now, I’ve realized that you need money more when you are older. Kids, retirement etc. Don’t be desperate. You don’t have today, you can have tomorrow & still enjoy life.

There is no latecomer in the “success world” or “rich world”. Whenever you get there, you are welcome. You will enjoy your life and almost forget you ever suffered. It doesn’t have to be now and there is no prize for being the first person to get “there”.
When I was in my teens and early twenties & a bit of late twenties, I used to marvel at how some of my age mates were enjoying life. I felt I would never catch up and they were already ahead of me. Tah! There is nothing like that. Today, none of us remembers who succeeded first.
