1/ We at @EFTA4UK are not partisan and don't favour any party. But as a purely theoretical exercise - some thoughts on the Independent Group. They have polled pretty well in the first few polls that have come out. But they lack numbers and a party machine.
2/ the lib Dems have the structure, databases and ground forces (plus lots of peers) - the lib Dems should essentially merge with the new group. But they won't get far as just a stop brexit party, since the lib Dems have had that as their USP and it hasn't done them many favours.
3/ if we were advising them, we'd suggest these whipped policies - extend article 50 for at least a month, say no to no deal, then let Individual MPs vote how they will in favour of or against brexit. (no whip on this). Also they need a good brand 'the radical centre party'? /End
