THREAD: 1/ Some commentators believe the UK must avoid participation in the European Parliament elections so Nigel Farage et al don't sweep the board. 
2/ we don't think that will happen. No doubt some people will feel angry about us not leaving the EU yet - but who will they vote for precisely? Ukip still exists remember (but without Farage)
3/ the new leader of Ukip has already attacked Farage's new party
4/ Ukip has splintered into several micro parties including the brexit party and 'Our Nation' lead by former Ukip leader Henry Bolton
5/ plus, we imagine the Conservative and Labour European parliament manifesoes will both say on them 'we will leave the eu'. So the members of the public who want to leave the EU will have lots of choice.
6/ we would predict that this would mean overall - significant drop in the vote share for minor parties and ukip (due to divided vote) a slight increase in # of seats for conservatives and a large increase for labour and lib Dems. What do you think? /End
