We are in dire need of proper privacy protections. The behavior described in the @wsj article should have criminal consequences of executives of both Facebook and apps that supply them with medical information on the sly.
I really wish that @apple would take the immediate step and kick off Instant Heart Rate: HR Monitor, Flo Health Inc.’s Flo Period & Ovulation Tracker, and the app for Realtor.com with immediate effect until their apps are no longer plundering this data for Facebook.
