Already seeing scores of qualified journalists lying about Labour’s new Brexit Amendment. Here is the exact wording so you can see it for yourself. Journalism is broken in this country.
Labour’s policy on a Brexit Referendum is same as this 29.01 amendment from Jeremy. Labour want a confirmation Y/N referendum on any Brexit Deal that achieves a HoC majority. If May’s deal pass HoC, Labour will push for this confirmation vote but ot ain’t in tonight’s amendment
On Wednesday, Labour have issued a 3 line whip for Labour MPs to back Jeremy’s Brexit vision

• A Customs Union
• No hard borders. Anywhere
• Single Market Access
• Workers’ Rights Protected
• Frictionless Trade in Goods
• Shadow EU Regs
• Skills Based Immigration System
Also serious errors in reporting around what stance Labour would take in a 2nd Referendum. If the offer was May Deal v Remain then Labour would campaign Remain. But if it was Labour’s Deal v Remain then Labour would campaign for its Deal. We want a good EU Brexit Deal.

The company that provides a vehicle for the 7 MPs leaving Labour today was founded 33 days ago. Think about that carefully, and reflect upon the last nearly 5 weeks of false outrage & staged confrontations.
Crucially, the company the 7 MPs join today was set up 13 days before Jeremy Corbyn tabled his amendment to hold a 2nd Referendum on a Labour Brexit Deal. We wondered why they were so livid when Jeremy did this, now we know. It deprived them of their chief excuse for leaving
Experience teaches us that there is nothing an egotist loves more than attention. Do not indulge this Corporate Tantrum. Block the MPs who now say they do not want a Labour Government. Deprive them of the outrage oxygen they seek.

Jeremy Corbyn says he "sincerely regret[s]" commenting under a post about a mural that on closer examination was anti-semetic. His comment was lazy & added to hurt arising from the mural. There can be no excuse for anti-semetism, of any kind.

First of all, the most obvious thing: Corbyn did this move not only because of a new Brexit strategy but above all because of a party strategy: the hemorrhage of moderate or outraged MPs had to be stopped somehow. The Independent group surely was concerning him. We’ll see.
Sure this move won’t stop the MPs shocked by the accusations of antisemitism, but it might have a good impact on the europhile ones. The new mantra is clear: until the choice is between May’s deal and No Deal, the new Labour weapon is a new, 2nd referendum.

I talked to business lobby groups, Stephen Kelly from @ManufacturingNI fresh back from talks with Barnier. And bosses of big companies.

- all-UK in a temporary customs Union
- Northern Ireland only in Single Market for goods, via devolution
- no checks GB-NI

1) Thread - All Brexits are bad and what we voted for
It's often said by brexiters that "it's not all about economics"
However, the *actual* Leave campaign was almost wholly about economic arguments

With the leak of this 2-8% report those arguments are now trashed
2) We seem to have forgotten this however economics played a huge part in the Vote Leave campaign, making up over 2/3rds of the primary arguements. The clear message was we would at the least be no worse off and at best much better off. 4 of the 6 below state this clearly
3) & the fact is voters believed we would be no worse off. People prioritized immigration certainly, but against a backdrop of there being no consequences from Brexit - few are prepared to actually pay for ending FoM
