Probably should just quickly go over a few things on the basis of this military cooperation. (Thread)
A lot of countries signed up to PESCO
But if you look at the countries that have suggested they'd be up for an Army, that number gets very small
2 of those countries want the Army on their border, which the other countries vehemently oppose.
France and German are admittedly 2 of them, but they can't agree on when to deploy or how much risk to take, Needless to say, they are not naturally aligned in terms of strategy,
In terms of the military advice they have sought, they have been told mixed language armies are not optimal, and to be honest, one look at the crisis management deployment and it doesn't look like the military structures were set up for speed.
It's really unlikely Denmark is going to give up its neutrality, and that means they won't be involved.
So, when someone talks about the EU Army, never say never, but I'm not holding my breath. There could be "something" developed down the line by France and Germany, but I think it would take a genuine serious geopolitical threat before there was an actual army.
A threat so serious it will mean that we're all pretty happy with a combined force.

Oh, and someone has pointed out Denmark may not be that neutral. I assumed that they were because the constitution has been given as a reason why they can't be involved in PESCO, but it might just be an opt out thing.
