2-Worth noting that talk show host Daoud Sharyan had been recently appointed President of Radio & TV Authority, & is perceived as having support of Crown Prince. A conserted social media campaign targeted him for addressing flight of Saudi women abroad, drugs, sexuality & poverty
3-Similarly, an attempt by female member of Saudi consultative Shura Council to hold Interior Ministry accountable for delaying a Royal Decree liberating women from aspects of Guardianship laws was struck down.

4- A Royal Decree easing restrictions placed on women was first issued in May 2017 but its implementation appears to be facing hurdles within the bureaucracy and as conservative forces push back on social media

While Hezbollah participated in past Lebanon governments, this is most ministers they've had & the first time they've acquired a "service ministry," allowing them potential use of state funds for patronage when the group is under increase financial pressure due to US sanctions
US has threatened to cut funds to any ministry controlled by Hezbollah, while also potentially leaning on WHO to restrict funding of the health ministry. Naming Nasrallah's physician, who's technically not card-carrying member of group, is an attempt to ameliorate US response

Some of the activists (none of whom have been formally charged or given access to lawyers) have been subjected to psychological or physical abuse while in custody, including electric shocks, sexual harassment, sleep deprivation and beatings. #Saudi
