It's not fair to pick on Silicon Valley alone. There are people from other parts of California who show little regard for their #undocumented neighbors.

@STUinSD @realDonaldTrump 2/ Trump has still not released his tax returns, breaking a 40-year presidential tradition that first began with President Richard Nixon. And judging by recent comments from his administration, it's safe to assume that they won't be released anytime soon.

There is no better Brexit when it comes to the Good Friday Agreement and Northern Ireland. As you still seem bamboozled by all this Paddywackery here’s a few pointers for your next stab in the dark -
1. Northern Ireland is made up of a majority of Unionists (as in the Conservative and Unionist Party) and, believe it or not, a rather large minority of Nationalists (as in Irish Nationalists)
2. These Irish Nationalists don’t see themselves as British but rather inconveniently as Irish (who knew?)

(THREAD) One of the subjects I teach at University of New Hampshire is journalism, so readers often ask questions about whether a given tendency they're seeing in major media is "good journalism." Without criticizing anyone in particular, I'd like to answer some common questions.
1/ First, I want to say that I think these questions are healthy—and discussing good journalism publicly is something that we can do without making it about personalities and institutions. As with any professional skill-set, no one who works in a profession is immune from lapses.
2/ Second, I want to say that nearly all the questions I get about journalism are about sourcing, which is understandable in the present political moment: the question of who we can trust—and when, and on what subjects, and in what fora—is critical to our democratic institutions.

Border Patrol in 2017, targeted/referred to prosecution more family units than single adults apprehended at the border by a 3 to1 margin.
Also expedited parents deportations without the kids on purpose.
2/ about 30% of adults apprehended were immediately deported.
only about 10% of children were deported with their parents.
I am going to stick the number of about 50 thousand minors in US detention and about 28000 under the age of 11. about half are placed with family or sponsors
the point here is, there are more underage separated kids than DHS is admitting to.
