My podcast is going so much better than I could have ever expected. The feedback has been great and our listenership is through the roof. I couldn't do it without the amazing guests I have been able to interview so far, and my incredibly dedicated producer.

For those who haven't listened, it is about 15 minutes of me talking about the news of the week. Very similar to what I post on here, then a little bit of music, and then the long interview with a special guest. progressivestackpod.com

We also have a new segment where producer Kris goes out into the world and interviews people. For example, last week we got a lot of great audio with kids who were at the Oregon State Capitol lobbying their representatives for gun legislation.

I don't know how to express to you all how proud and excited I am for this product. I need help though so we can keep it all up. I don't ask you all for much and this is super easy so here are 3 ways you can help:

1. Mention people in the comments here who you think will be great interview guests. So far we have interviewed former mayoral candidate Sarah Iannarone, Portland DSA Co-Chair Olivia Katbi Smith, Former State Senate candidate James Ofsink, and Lewis & Clark Professor Elliot Young

Our next interview will be with Swiggle Mandela which will be our first music interview. We aren't just a Portland podcast though, please tag interesting people you want to hear from. I promise you my interview style is unlike anyone else and it will be a fun experience.

Anyone from politics, culture, music, history, art, activism. All of it! Also, we feature underground music in every episode so please send me your music if you want it played on the radio!

2. Listen to the podcast! We are everywhere that you can find podcasts, I prefer iTunes. If you listen to it and like it, please share it, post it to your pages, and like and review it on that platform.

Luckily I have a little bit of a following so we didn't have to start from scratch but to take the podcast to the next level we need more reviews and shares! Don't keep this wonderful product to yourself lol.

3. It isn't free or easy to put this together. We need studio time, producer time, graphic design, platforming, promotion, gear, etc. So far everything has come out of pocket but that can only go so far as we are drying up a bit and want to continue to take this to the next level
