Staying in your house all day will have you losing your joy for life.

You'll also feel sleepy & tired all the time.

Remember, humans are social creatures to the core.

Make it a priority to have atleast 1-3 social interactions a day.
Now tbh, this lesson is often learned the hard way.

But it's best to learn it one way or another.

The initial tweet ties into a major social dynamics fundamental.

-Humans are creatures of energy.
When I was in college, I went 1 year when I became a complete recluse.

'Why?'

Because I was taking 21 credits & it was my final year before graduating the college of engineering.

Didn't want any distractions.
So I would go to classes, then come home and study nonstop.

'Were you able to do well in classes?'

Ya.

But that came with a price.
My solid grades led me to be:

-Tired
-Sad
-Lonely
And during this time, I realized something.

'What?'

That this was not healthy.
You see, humans are social creatures to the core.

When you completely rob yourself of that, your mind begins to suffer.
Let me ask you a question.

Do you think our ancestors had members that were chilling by themselves in a cave all the time?

'No.'

Why?

'Because they knew we needed each other for survival.'

Exactly.
With the rise in technology & comfort, being social has been seen as a hassle by our generation.

Why meet real people when you can meet them on your screen?
But this is dangerous.

'Why?'

Because humans are creatures of energy.

When you keep yourself cooped up in the house, you disconnect your energy from the world.

By doing this, your mind starts getting all wacky.
Don't you think it's a little abnormal that we have the most resources in human history, but anxiety is at an all-time high?

'Ya, that is pretty weird.'

That's because many of us let the resources control us, rather than the other way around.
Results?

Lack of sun
Lack of social skills
Humans begin to scare you
You ask why no one cares about you
You hate life etc.
You need to begin taking your energy more seriously.

Don't let it take you a year as I did in college to get this wake-up call.

'Gee whiz! So how do I fix my ways?'

Thru 2 things.
1. Make it a conscious effort to have 1-3 interactions a day.

'What if I have no friends?'

Go on Google, type in local club activities & go there to make some friends.

Get creative & be more proactive.
2. Spend time in nature

This is impactful because you connect back with mother nature.

You balance your energy levels.

Staying in your house depletes your energy level.

Major key.
Remember, people are not going to just break into your house to be social with you.

The older you get, the more active you have to be with your social life.
But as time elapses, you will gain a level of joy back.

Feeling joy leads to clarity.

And clarity allows you to tackle life with purpose.
If you feel like something has been off in your life, audit your social life.

And if that's the problem, then fix it.

You'll be nervous at first to get back out there.

All good.

Start off light & work your way up.

You'll build social comfort over time.
Now go!

Find ways to exit your house & force yourself to be social until you can do it on autopilot.

You will not regret your decision.

Guaranteed.
