Whilst technically interesting, this latest Saturday morning Brexit missive from @tconnellyRTE reveals a quite staggering level of political naivety from UK and possibly EU negotiators that the very minor changes they were discussing would be politically significant
Even before the Attorney General had released his opinion it was obvious to those following the debate that the changes were minor technical ones, and could not be anything but that given what we knew of EU red lines. So this whole episode reads as optimism over reality
In that sense as predicted the key event of the week was Wednesday, with the PM forced to take no-deal off the tablefor now by an amendment, giving Brexiteers and the DUP their tough choice for the week ahead.
