Street in heart of Brussels EU quarter closed during bomb scare. Britain's embassy to the EU is on the street which has been cordened off. Staff not at liberty to comment.
Street close to European Commission and EU Council building. Fire and police present. Metro nearby still open
EU Europe ministers meeting close by cordoned off area.
Ukrep, the British embassy to the EU, is the building with the two flags on the cordoned off Rue D'Auderghem. Road has been closed since 10.30 local time, almost 90 mins ago, for bomb scare.
The European Commission HQ looks into the cordoned off street. Situation seems calm. Looks like police dogs have arrived.
Teams in body armour wait near to the British embassy, which has two officers apparently posted outside. Definitely not clear that scare focuses on Ukrep. Could be anywhere on the 100 metre stretch cordoned off.
Does not look like bomb scare centres on British embassy. Ukrep to left. Teams on other side of road and looking in other direction.
Ukrep staff have not been evacuated.
Looks like scare on Rue Breydel off Auderghem, away from Ukrep
Here at bottom of Rue Breydel, also cordoned off. Holiday Inn and Shell garage on street. You can see Ukrep on Auderghem. Told incident focuses on 42 Rue Breydel, the office of influential lobbyists G+
G plus received call and called police leading to scare

Their clients have included Gazprom and Microsoft.
Sniffer dogs now checking vehicles outside Gplus offices.
G plus reception received phone call around 10:25 am. Just, said " there is a bomb" and hung up.

Called back abt 11:15 when staff already outside. Said bomb would go off in half an hour.
In fantastic sign of Belgian insouciance, a chap just walked out of building in cordoned off area, put his hands in pockets and watched as sniffer dog checked car.
Have spoken to Thomas Barros Testers, managing partner at Gplus. He took both calls. Has worked there for 10 years, never had a similar call
The 42 year old heads up an office of about 35 people. They were evacuated after the first call, where caller told Thomas "the bomb was right under him".
"I spoke to him but I wasn't scared. He didn't seem serious but I could be wrong. On the second call I asked him why... He just said thank you thank you and hung up"
Caller was male and spoke accented English. Thomas sent email and went floor by floor to evacuate staff, who are waiting outside in the euro quarter.
When asked where bomb was., caller said under your seat. His number now in hands of police.
Thomas praised Belgian police for their swift response and professionalism. Admits lobbyists Gplus have been targeted for protests from NGOs such as Greenpeace for more controversial clients in past but doesn't think this "has anything to do with our clients".
Looks like a prank. No sign of panic.
De facto deputy PM David Lidlington is in Brussels to meet Guy Verhofstadt. Quite the welcome..
False alarm on bomb scare confirmed by Gplus staff, who are now back in office.
