Picking back up after lunch with the Damascus HS rape case. Defendant’s mother, a detective and a school official were called as witnesses. @wusa9

Defendant was suspended 12 times. When alternative schools were suggested, defendant’s mother visited one in Rockville. She claims that a person who works there told her not to send her son there because it would make him worse. @wusa9

When the defendant started having trouble his mother took him to the pediatrician. Pediatrician sent him to see a therapist 8 or 9 times. Mom says her son wasn’t improving and that she couldn’t afford to continue therapy. She does believe that he should see a therapist. @wusa9

The year the family came to the US the defendant’s pediatrician suggested he take medicine for ADHD. Mother says she wasn’t educated on the medicine and feared her son would become an addict. Since the end of feb, she now administers his ADHD medication every morning. @wusa9

Defendant’s mother claims she hasn’t received any disciplinary problems from the alternative school that her son is now attending.

Rocky Hill (6,7,8 grade): 34 documented office referrals and 8 suspensions. I’ll spell them out for you....6th grade: suspended one time for attack on a student - suspension lasted 2 days. 7th grade: 5 suspensions.

1. Sexual harassment - September 25,2015 - 2 day suspension. Both physical and verbal harassment. Touched a girl on the shoulder and told two girls to hold his genitalia.

2. December 2015 - threat to a student - 5 days suspension. Bullied and verbally threatened another student. He said he would shoot the female student and her dog.

3. April 2016 - attack on a student - 2 day suspension. Punched and was stalking a student a the bus stop

4. May 2., 2016 - sexual harassment - 3 day suspension. Squeezed and touch a female student’s bottom in class. This is not the first time he has exhibited this behavior

5. June 2016 - sexual harassment - 3 days suspension. Made sexually harassing statements to a female student

The defendant had 2 suspensions in 8th grade at Rocky Hill middle school. 1. August 31, 2016 - fighting - 1 day suspension.
2. March 10, 2017 - attack on a student - 3 day suspension. Spit in a student’s face and disrupted school bus operation

In 9th grade at Clarksburg HS the defendant had 27 behavioral referrals and 3 suspensions. 1. Nov 2017 - disrespect, disruption and tardiness - 2 day suspension.
2. Jan 5 2018 - threat to a student - 4 day suspension
3. Mar 2018 - theft, bullying & harassment - 5 day suspension

The most recent suspension started on Nov 7 following the alleged incident of rape in the locker room of Damascus HS on October 31, 2018. That was a 10 day suspension with recommission for expulsion for a sexual attack.

Prior to that incident, on Oct 11, 2018, an email was sent from the defendant’s football coach to defendant’s teachers expressing that he spoke to defendant about his behavior in class and that the student is aware that any further bad behavior would result in removal team.
