1) I am grateful for the Electoral College because instead of the Presidential election being decided by just the four states of Texas, New York, California, and Florida, it’s instead determined by just the four states of Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Florida.
2) Oh, and if you think that in a popular vote the election WOULD be determined by just California, Texas, New York, and Florida, you haven’t done the math or the reading because no, there’s not enough votes there. Stop. That argument is disqualifying.
3) Nor the top 20 cities. Nope. But it sure would be nice to feel you’re not throwing away your vote as a Republican in California, huh?
