That was very, very bad.
May has exactly what she always wanted. Her deal vs no deal, with the abyss right there.
Very troubling that Tusk did not mention a longer extension.
However: it is possible that if May's deal rejected again, EU would still grant longer extension at the last minute next week. But no guarantees.
MPs will have to vote with no certainty on what the consequence of rejection is, and a pretty strong indication from EU that it could be no-deal.
So basically two glimmers of hope: 1) Kyle amendment. Could this be enough to really get Labour leadership to back it.
2) a possible EU summit after the vote next week. Would they then offer a longer extension.
In both cases, it's super fucking touch and go. EU tag-teaming with May to force that shoddy deal down our throats.
