I asked for an explanation for why 9 - and maybe 12 - of his 16 charges were not double jeopardy under NY state law.
Still no answer.
That's not OK.
It violates the rule of law & civil liberties.
It threatens to ruin the NY prosecution of Manafort.
And it risks backlash against the other fed and state investigations.

Overcharging defendants, beyond the evidence and beyond the scope of the law, to overwhelm them and scare them into plea deals.
"Just let us litigate it" = Just let us overwhelm you with state power.
But @CyVance (& @DanielRAlonso) are double jeopardizing this investigation w/ this cavalier abuse.
I mean it's not OK that Vance is not answering these questions that many people have been asking about whether his indictment violates double jeopardy laws.
