Tonight's agreement has pretty much guaranteed that even if there is a vote next week, it will fail again.

Why? Because the risk in doing so has been removed.

You have to think from Brexiteers point of view. What is the risk of voting against May's deal?
None. The worst that happens - for Brexiteers, I mean - the worst that happens is a delay until April 12th.

To ever get parliament to vote for her deal Theresa May would have had to orchestrate another vote on the very day before we got kicked out.
That might just have frightened parliament into accepting it at the last minute.

But I suppose with parliament setting itself up to take matters out of her hands, she was about to lose control of it anyway.

I think Theresa May is just self indulgent now. She wants yet another vote which she is going to lose yet again, if she is even allowed to have it, and then she is finally going to resign because parliament will take it off her.

Theresa May is still going to resign, and we are never going to leave the European Union.
God knows she should have resigned a fucking year ago, and the Conservative Party owes us all an apology for wasting all this time and money.
