Maybe I’m missing something. I grew up in rural Missouri. We had a farm, guns and went to Church every Sunday. But when the people you vote for are doing the *opposite* of what you want them to do or are actually hurting your interests, you change who you’re voting for.
Whenever I think of the plight of the Missouri rural voter, I’m reminded of what my mom taught me. “The good Lord helps those who help themselves”. If the rural Missouri voter wants things to change for them, they gotta first stop voting for people who are working against them.
