The Yamnaya people - tall, muscular, brown-skinned, brown-eyed, dark-haired horse riders - alleged to be India's "Aryan invaders" - are now being categorized as the "most violent group of people who ever lived".

Honest question: If the irredeemably violent Yamnaya were indeed India's alleged "Aryan invaders" (as claimed by David Reich & some journalists), why is there no evidence whatsoever of a violent invasion?

Did India's air and water magically civilize them?
The Yamnaya were genetically tall ... brown-eyed, dark-haired & had a skin color that was moderately light, though darker than that of the average modern European. Their skin tone had a high propensity to tan & sunburn was minimal.

That describes ... well, me.
DNA: The Yamnaya had a high prevalence of the Indian-origin R1a haplogroup. In other words, many of them were descended from ancient Indians.

This tells us that there was an Yamnaya-mediated "Aryan invasion", but it originated in India and went westwards.
