The EU have already said they're not open to another short extension. She knows that, we all know that, yet she's asking for a short extension. She is expecting that to be knocked back and that'll she be offered no extension or a long extension

She's said the Withdrawal Agreement (WA) is not negotiable. The only thing to negotiate on is the Political Agreement. This is NOT legally binding and she has said she will go after the WA.

We're expected to believe that during a 7 hour Cabinet meeting she dumped every red line she's had for 3 years in the face of Cabinet opposition? If true, why no senior resignations? Their leaked comments are scathing.

She want's to bring back her deal for a vote next week. Progress with Corbyn will scare the Hard Brexiters to go for it. No progress adds pressure to get Brexit done before it's gone. She's just wants the WA done, doesn't care how.

If she brings back her deal and it fails again, the Cooper/Letwin move will block No Deal, there's no way to get a deal done in time. A long extension is likely with EU elections. The Tories want to use these sham talks to blame Corbyn for that.

Mainstream media have given May's game away. They're all pretty much running with the line she's being genuine. They want us to believe the serial liar PM who's sold out the DUP, the ERG, Tory Remainers is now sincere?

Unless something amazing happens, these talks are a sham designed to give May and her leadership rivals the cover they need to bring back her botched deal or as seems likely a long extension. Sadly, much of the media will do best their best to obscure this.
