Nope. Cybersecurity isn't about compliance with the law. That's a common misconception. Yes, there are "regulatory compliance" issues, but no more so than any other field, like medicine or education.
If I'm selling you a product, service, or consulting hours, I'm on YOUR side against ALL adversaries. If those adversaries are cybercriminals, obviously I'm on the side of the law. If those adversaries are the FBI trying to hack your computer, I'm on your side against them.
I mean, I'm NOT selling you a product or service specifically with the intent to evade law enforcement and facilitate your crimes, but I'm not going to whitelist the FBI's malware either.
