Slavery and segregation didn’t destroy us....

Integration, did.

Y’all like stats?
In 1965, only 8 percent of childbirths in the Black community occurred out of wedlock.
In 2010, that figure was 41 percent; and today........
We sit at 72 percent, roughly.
Instead of focusing on maintaining Black male employment to allow them to provide for their families, Johnson passed The Civil Rights Act with full affirmative action for women.....

Who did this benefit the most?

White Women, Family.

This created our welfare system.
Only 2 percent of all working Black Americans work for another Black person within their own neighborhood, which has left us marginalized and dependent on white ownership for economic survival.
Progression:
There are descendants of slaves in America whose families have never known middle class prosperity.

Health outcomes:
450 billion a year on Medicaid, yet health outcomes for black people on Medicaid are no different than those for blacks with no health insurance.
The school to prison pipeline emerged as school disciplinary practices and zero tolerance policies.
This effectively funneled young, black makes(highly disproportionately) from education into a for-profit prison system thus putting them back in literal slavery.
Dropping a controversial post, starting fires and then going to work<<<<<<<<<<<<

Y’all have a good one!!😂
Assimilation: (we going there)
By definition, to assimilate is to become “similar” to something.

We didn’t integrate, we assimilated.

Keep that key word, family.

Similar....

We lost our cultural values and moral standards and traditions to become similar to our oppressors
