Seeing more Brexit bots active over the last 24h than at any time I can remember. Swarming like flies. Clearly someone is getting desperate and chucking more and more money at bot-farms.
(Reminder: bots can be human too. But they're paid propagandists. Block 'em if you see 'em!)

Characteristics:
- old account, suddenly very active
- massive number of monothematic tweets
- small number of followers (sub 100 - you would expect more for accounts established for a number of years, and with thousands of tweets)
- impervious to logic
In the end it's gut feel.

But there's no huge penalty if you get a bit block-happy.
Personally, I block 3 main types of accounts:
- bots
- posters who abuse me or swear at me
- obviously racist/offensive accounts
Does it help? Who knows. Certainly, *I* feel better afterwards!

PS Bonus telltale sign: if they allegedly voted Remain, but have since been won over by the Leave camp arguments. Mash that "block" button until your finger bleeds.
