/ The goal of @HouseJudiciary hearings with Barr must be to (1) show bias in his judgment to prosecute, (2) show his wordsmithing in his summary letter to Congress was manipulative, and (3) get Barr on record so Mueller can retort publicly. Thus, the order of the QNs matters.
/ Mr. Barr, obviously as AG you need to know all the various crimes that could be charged. Could you explain what "Misprison of Felony" means to my aunt in Indiana? That 18 U.S. Code § 4, in case you needed the reference. @RepLucyMcBath @RepEscobar
/ In other words, if you know someone has committed a crime and you do not report the crime to the authorities, you can be charged with a crime. Right? @JacksonLeeTX18 @RepHankJohnson @RepKarenBass @RepJeffries @RepSwalwell @RepRaskin @RepValDemings @RepSylviaGarcia
/ In Oct. 2017, George Papadopoulos pled guilty to lying to the FBI about communications with a Professor who told him that Russians had thousands of emails of Hillary Clinton. Given that you have plea deal in your files, could Mr. Papadopoulos be charged Misprison of Felony?
/ For the record, will you consider charging Mr. Papadopoulos for this crime? This is important because Mr. Papadopoulos was a member of the Trump Presidential Campaign when this Misprison of Felony happened.
/ Mr. Barr, do you believe it is your legal responsibility to be forthright with Congress when communicating with them?
/ In your summary letter, you reported that "The Special Counsel's investigation did not find the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. Presidential election."
/ Does this mean that you, as AG, do not consider Misprision of Felony by a Trump campaign foreign policy advisor to be considered "coordination" with the Russian government in its election interference activities? I'd like to get that on the record.
/ Let's move on. Would you consider someone who advises a campaign with their hiring of a campaign manager to be an Advisor to the Campaign? Do you consider such advisors to be part of a campaign? How do you define whether someone is part of a campaign, Mr. Barr?
/ As the Chief Law Enforcement Office of this great country, do you agree with the assessment of the Intelligence Community that Wikileaks is an asset of the Russian government?
/ As you know Roger Stone was charged with hiding direct and indirect communications with Wikileaks. Stone knowingly reached out through a friend to see when hacked emails would be dumped by Wikileaks, learning that they planed "2 more dumps." Is that Misprison of Felony?
/ Is coordinating through a friend to a Russian asset not coordination with the Russian govt, Mr. Barr? Do you classify Roger Stone as someone who was not part of the Trump campaign? So when he communicated with Wikileaks directly, he was not doing so as part of the campaign?
/ You do know that Mr. Stone was the one who advised Mr. Trump to hire Paul Manafort, don't you? time.com/5003298/paul-m… If being an advisor makes you part of a campaign, then your letter to Congress was not truthful.
/ Let's turn to Konstantin Kilimnik. Do you agree with the intelligence community that Mr. Kilimnik is an agent of the Russian govt?
/ Were you aware, Mr. Barr, that documents filed in the Paul Manafort case suggest that Manafort requested Rick Gates to print out 75 pages of polling data so as to be given to Konstantin Kilimnik (since indicted)?
/ Do you not believe Kilimnik was an agent assisting “the Russian govt in its election interference activities? If not, why not? In your mind, was the Manafort-Kilimnik link not considered a “link and/or coordination”? Was Mr. Kilimnik not mentioned in the Mueller report?
/ Have you seen the copies of Don Jr.’s emails, which he publicly released when the New York Times @nytimes was preparing to release them?
/ As the nation's Chief Legal Officer, what did you think when you read Russian officials “offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father”?
/ As Chief Legal Officer, what did you think when you read that Don Jr. knew that the information as part of Russia’s “support for Mr. Trump.” Given that the Trump campaign had been warned about potential Russian outreach, is not reporting that contact Misprison of Felony?
/ I'd like to remind you of Bob Mueller's remit, which includes investigating, "links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump.”
/ Could you explain how taking a meeting with Russian officials under these circumstances would not be considered "links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump"?
/ Your original letter to Congress suggests that the Special Counsel did not investigate this meeting at Trump Tower and did not include the findings of the links in his final report? Is that true?
/ Or does it mean that you, as the Chief Legal Officer of this nation, do not consider agreeing to meet Russian agents who explicitly want to share information that “would be very useful” and would be “support for Mr. Trump” as “conspired or coordinated”?
/ In summary, @HouseJudiciary needs to systematically destroy our corrupt Attorney General, using his own words against him, or forcing him to provide his extremely narrow definitions to the public in ways that reveal his fraud on the American people.
