You want to criticize Trump or say his criticism of Omar is unfair? Fine.

If you're going to suggest it endangers her, then you have to explain how your and her attacks on Trump don't endanger him. It's a blatant and garbage double standard.

The left has been doing this for several months now. It's ridiculous and it's an obvious attempt to prevent any criticism of their most extreme elements.

You can't reasonably have it both ways. If criticism leads to violence, then yours counts too.

A Bernie Bro literally cited Sanders' attacks on Republicans regarding healthcare to justify his attempts to assassinate members of Congress. You know how many of these people think Bernie's attacks and rhetoric = incitement?

Just a few weeks ago Omar said Trump was not human. Almost no one accused her of dehumanizing him or incite violence. I thought her statement was inappropriate, but I'm not going to pretend it will lead to violence. But if you're going to suggest posting her own words will..

Personally, i think portraying your political opponents as evil (which has become relatively common on both sides) is a bad idea. I do not think all or even severe criticism is = incitement to violence. Those that do, need to either apply it to both sides or stop it.

Hayes in particular has framed Republican policies (form healthcare to the border) as evil on countless occasions. You can't do that and then insist a video citing someone's words (even if you argue that it's dishonest without context) is a threat on their life.
